This camp is geared toward experienced rowers who want to sense what it is like to row, train, and live as a competitive Division I athlete. This camp can help to prepare you for summer racing and beyond. We will row in both small boats- pairs and fours, as well as eights. The camp will include a mix of things such as seat racing, a pair matrix, erg tests, strenuous water and land workouts, video review, and individual skill-instruction and coaching.
This camp is designed to focus on race strategy, small boat competency, competitive skills, and supplement basic technical knowledge. Coxswains will receive individual feedback, video review, and an opportunity to create and review recordings. Row twice daily from the newly renovated Cornell University Rowing Center on Cayuga Lake. Utilize the Cornell Rowing facilities including: ergs, boats, and indoor tanks.
We recommend having a minimum of 2 years of rowing and racing experience.
All campers will receive a T-shirt.
