The Cornell Spring ID clinic is recommended for current 9th through 11th graders. For those who want to play college soccer at Cornell and believe they have the ability, then this would be a perfect clinic to attend. Over the course of two days there will be 5 two-hour sessions run by our current men’s soccer staff. There will also be a 60-minute panel session consisting of staff and players where you can find out more about the college recruitment process and delve deeper into what it takes to be a part of a collegiate soccer program.
The Spring ID Clinic will give you the opportunity to show what you can do, and it will also afford you a glimpse into college soccer. The sessions will mirror those done by the Cornell Men’s Soccer team and our players will be on hand to share their knowledge and experiences with you.
Please note: this is a commuter camp; meals and lodging are NOT included with the camp.
The clinic is designed to closely replicate the training environment and competition that the advanced player can expect to find at the collegiate level. The full-sided matches are also an outstanding opportunity for players to showcase their abilities within the team framework. Sessions take place at Cornell's premier McGovern Fields soccer training complex.
McGovern is one of the best training facilities in the country and includes a field house with locker rooms, an athletic training facility, and two manicured natural grass fields and lights.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a non-residential camp, and all participants are responsible for their own lodging.
The Cornell Soccer Academy, for boys ages 10-16, is based on the "total" camp experience. This camp allows for soccer players to develop technically and tactically, in a fun, playing-based environment. With skills training in the morning and small-sided games in the afternoon, the Academy covers all aspects of the game. Coaches strive to create a fun environment where individual skills and teamwork are developed.
Individual attention and interaction with the coaching staff makes the Cornell Soccer Academy one of the best camps around.
