When is payment required for camp?
A non-refundable deposit is required to hold a spot in any camp. For residential/commuter camps, the deposit is $200. For all day-only camps, the deposit is $100. One-day camps/clinics require full payment at the time of registration. Full payment is due no later than 30 days prior to the start of camp. Failure to submit full payment and/or required forms on time will result in a $20 late fee.
What type of payment can I use?
Cornell Camps & Clinics strongly encourages you to register online and pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Discover) via our secure site. By creating an online account, you can print invoices, check status, edit information and have constant access to your registration. If you would like to pay by check, you can choose the "Bill Me" option when registering online. Payment must be received by the camp office within 10 days of registration, or your spot will be released. Within two weeks of the start of camp, registration is not available by check.
How can I make additional payments?
After your initial deposit, you can log back into your account and make payments of any amount at any time! Click on any of the "Register Now" buttons to bring you back to the account management site, or click "Manage My Account" on the bottom right of the page. You may also send a check if you prefer that payment method. When sending check payments, please be sure to include the camper's name in the memo field. Checks payable to: Cornell Camps & Clinics.
Is the deposit non-refundable?
A $200 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration for all residential and commuter camps. Day-only camps (boys and girls basketball, boys ice hockey day camp, coed soccer day camp, tennis day camp, rock climbing day camp and youth sports day camp) require a $100 deposit. Without Cancellation Protection, there are absolutely no refunds for cancellations within 30 days of camp. Full payment is required 30 days prior to the start date of camp.
What is cancellation protection?
We strongly advises each camper to purchase Cancellation Protection. Cancellation Protection is available to all campers for $25 (non-refundable), due at the time of registration.
Cornell policy clearly states that there are no refunds within 30 days of the start date of camp. In the unlikely event that you have to withdraw from camp after this deadline due to a family emergency, injury, illness or other sudden event, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of your registration fees (less the $25 non-refundable cost of Cancellation Protection) up to seven (7) days before the start of camp. If you cancel within seven (7) days of the start of camp, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends and is valid toward any sports school camp for up to two years. What happens if I cancel and do not have cancellation protection?
The deposit due upon registration is non-refundable, and any cancellations will result in the loss of this deposit. We do not offer cash refunds within 30 days of the start of camp. If you do cancel within 30 days of the start of camp, for any reason, the deposit is retained by the Cornell Camps & Clinics, and the remaining balance can be used towards any Cornell sports camp for up to one year. It cannot be transferred.
Who can pay for my camp fees?
In accordance with NCAA Compliance laws, third parties may not provide payment for a recruitable athlete's camp fees. For more information, please contact the Cornell Athletics compliance office: 607-255-4563.
