Softball Hitting Clinic

  • Ages: 11-18
  • Cost: $50

The Big Red softball team along with Julie Farlow, the Jan Rock-Zubrow '77 Head Coach of Softball, will hold a Hitting Clinic on Saturday, March 2nd. Emphasis will be placed on in-depth instruction of swing fundamentals and drill work. Attendees will have ample opportunity to demonstrate their swing mechanics as they work directly with Cornell players at various drill stations. The clinic will be held in the Ramin Room, Cornell's multi-use indoor facility located in Bartels Hall. All skill levels are welcome.

The hours of the clinic are: 12:00-2:30pm. Check-in begins at 11:30am. The last date to register is Saturday, February 23rd.

Softball Pitching Clinic

The Big Red softball team along with Julie Farlow, the Jan Rock-Zubrow '77 Head Coach of Softball, will hold a Pitching clinic on Saturday, March 2nd. This instructional clinic will cover the mechanics and techniques used to throw several specific pitches. Attendees will work directly with Cornell players and coaches as they demonstrate their skills. Pitchers are asked to bring a catcher (no charge). The clinic will be held in the Ramin Room, Cornell’s multi-use facility located in Bartels Hall. All skill levels are welcome.

The hours of the clinic are: 3:00-5:00pm. Check-in begins at 2:45pm. The last date to register is Saturday, February 23rd.

Softball Big Red Camp

  • Dates: July 7-9, 2019
  • Ages: 13-18
  • Price: $469 (Resident) / $369 (Commuter)

The Cornell Softball Big Red Camp provides a competitive experience focusing on all skills: hitting, fielding, pitching, catching, and throwing. During the three-day event, campers will receive individual instruction, participate in group drills, and play team games.

Campers will learn in a positive, enthusiastic environment while receiving instruction from current players and coaches. They’ll become fully immersed in life at Cornell as they have the opportunity to live in a college dorm room, eat in an award-winning dining hall, and become familiar with Cornell’s campus and facilities.

Camp check-in takes place from 12:30-1:30pm on Sunday, July 7th and the final session concludes at 3:30pm on Tuesday, July 9th.

All campers receive a T-shirt.
